The MG RX8 is a bold and capable SUV built to be noticed as we found out on a girls’ trip between Dubai and Fujairah one weekend, armed with the latest cameras from Nikon and a sense of adventure that saw us driving through the mountains to a campsite off the coast. The drive experience on a long-haul trip proved to be comfortable with innovative technology complementing the ultimate driving experience.
REDEFINED EXTERIOR
The MG RX8 offers an elevated ride and plenty of finesse. We loved the dual-slot hood, the blood chrome grille, and the distinctive lighting signature. I had the opportunity to drive the All-Black Edition
The finishing look can be tailored with a choice of colours and according to taste. With 19-inch alloy wheels as standard (20-inches on the Lux edition), you can also be confident the model will take on- and off-road adventures in its stride.
COMFORTABLE INTERIOR
The MG RX8 comes in a choice of upholstery finishes enabling you to experience a real sense of comfort during your adventures, with the driver and front passenger seat also offering heating. The split folding second row means opening up additional storage space in the boot opens effortlessly. With Dual Zone Climate Control and a separate rear air conditioning system, you can create your own perfect driving environment.

Driving the MG RX8 with a power-packed 2.0T engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission provides 360Nm of torque and an on-Demand system that enables you to select the best driving mode for you and the surface you’re tackling. In just 0.1 seconds, it’ll switch between Auto, Snow, Off-Road, Sport, 4L and 2H, providing complete control when you need it most.
INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY
