Zeekr emerges as a trailblazer in the electric vehicle (EV) landscape, carving its niche with a commitment to cutting-edge technology and innovative designs. As a subsidiary of Geely, Zeekr benefits from a heritage of automotive expertise while forging a new path toward the future of sustainable transportation.
My Zeekr experience was truly a Journey into Innovation. The tours with Zeekr provided an unparalleled glimpse into the heart of their operation, beginning with a visit to the Zeekr Centre, a hub of creativity and technological prowess. Following that, we also visited the Geely Brand Centre which showcased the synergy between the parent company and its ambitious offspring.
We then ventured on to drive the Zeekr 001, Zeekr X, and Zeekr 007 at the Ningbo International SpeedPark. The opportunity to test drive Zeekr’s flagship models was exhilirating and we were able to do a few laps with each car. Each vehicle exemplifies Zeekr’s ethos.
The Zeekr 001 is the first model launched by Zeekr and is a luxury electric shooting brake. It boasts a unique and elegant design with a long wheelbase, a low roofline, and a spacious interior. The Zeekr 001 is equipped with sleek design and powerful dual electric motors, providing impressive performance and all-wheel drive capabilities.
It features a high-tech interior with a large infotainment display, an advanced sound system, and a range of connectivity options. The vehicle also offers advanced safety features and driver assistance systems, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a premium electric vehicle.
Zeekr X features a sleek, modern design with a distinctive front fascia and a futuristic interior. It is equipped with advanced technologies, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital cockpit, and a range of driver assistance features. The vehicle is built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which is designed for electric vehicles, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience. It features a unique balance of sportiness and practicality.
The Zeekr 007’s design on the other hand is a nod to the future, boasting a minimalist yet functional interior. It is a luxury electric sedan that combines elegance with cutting-edge technology. It features a sleek and aerodynamic design with a spacious and luxurious interior. The vehicle is powered by a high-performance electric powertrain, delivering swift acceleration and a long driving range.

To get behind the scenes, we checked out the ZEEKR Workshop and Intelligent Factory which revealed the brand’s forward-thinking approach to car manufacturing. Robotics, AI, and meticulous craftsmanship converge to create vehicles that are both art and machine.
We also were able to get some VREMT Factory Insights. Our visit to the VREMT Factory further emphasized Zeekr’s dedication to innovation. Here, the focus on renewable energy technologies, efficient production methods, and sustainable practices was evident, underscoring Zeekr’s vision for an eco-friendly automotive future.
The journey through Zeekr’s world was not just an insight into their current achievements but also a window into the future of EV technology. With each model offering unique best features that push the envelope, Zeekr solidifies its place at the forefront of the EV revolution, promising an electrified tomorrow that is as exciting as it is sustainable.
