The Dolder Grand Curates Summer Experiences for Arab Travellers

Starting from the 16th of August, a summer Oriental Hideaway pop up restaurant will offer a spread of exotic Arabic delicacies for all Middle Eastern food lovers. The dreamy ambience of the place stems from the Arabian-inspired decorations, such as luminous lanterns in different colours, oriental carpets embroidered with brown threads inspired by the colour of cinnamon, and comfortable sofas made of bamboo wood. The authentic flavours and Arabic music will immerse guests in the sense of a ‘thousand and one Arabian nights‘ while surrounded by the green mountains and picturesque nature of Zurich. Guests can choose their favourite dishes from the Asly menu created by Oriental Chef de Cuisine, Firas El-Borji
Separate Spa for Ladies 
Perfect for Arab spa aficionados, the 43,000 sq ft Spa at the Dolder Grand has a designated ladies’ area, which offers complete privacy and comfort for more conservative women looking to relax and unwind freely and without any restrictions.
The unparalleled facilities include a wellness centre and fitness area with cardio equipment and a personal trainer, as well as a studio for complimentary Yoga, Pilates and Zumba classes. The Aqua Zone features a 25-meter-long swimming pool and indoor and outdoor whirlpool of two types of cold and warm water and mineral water couches. The ice room is where guests can cool down, especially after using the sanarium or the steam bath.

This summer, the international elite of haute cuisine will gather at the legendary gourmet festival The Epicure. Setting new culinary standards from 5 to 10 July 2022, the 2-Michelin Star and 19 GaultMillau Points Chef Fine Dining, Heiko Nieder will host a group of top chefs from Europe, Asia, and Australia to serve extraordinary flavours and memorable culinary experiences.
Over five evenings, Heiko Nieder will team up with a different guest chef in The Restaurant’s kitchen to create an exceptional 8-course dinner featuring pairings not seen before and serving up the very finest haute cuisine. At the grand finale guests can watch the Michelin-starred chefs in action at the food stations and enjoy an unforgettable end to the festival week.

The Lobster Club
The Lobster Club at the Dolder Grand is a summer pop-up dining experience with summery dishes and lots of culinary delights that will be served right through to the 7th of August. Guests will be surrounded by beautiful artwork and reinterpreted seafood, particularly lobster, in a contemporary and casual but always highly exclusive way. Swiss street artist Boogie has implemented the seafood theme in three large graffiti images displayed in the venue, showing two opposing worlds harmoniously. the creative menu includes surprising, seasonal, fresh creations such as Octopus «Ceviche», Lobster wrap California style, and Gillardeau oyster «Grand Khan».
Arabian-inspired suites
Two of the top suites at the Dolder Grand have been specifically designed with Arab guests in mind; The Carezza suite spans over 2,300 sq ft and is presented with high ceilings that blend specific patterns and colours, predominantly gold, marble and wood, while the balcony surrounds the entire suite, with a unique view of Zurich, the lake, and the Swiss Alps.
The Terrazza suite spreads out over 3,900 sq ft, covering two floors, and offering up to four bedrooms, including an exquisite primary suite. Its modern interior takes on classic lines, while floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light and stunning city views. With a private entrance, the Terrazza is particularly suited to long-stay guests, while the hotel’s butler team provide specific one-on-one service to guests.
The exceptional concierge service at the Dolder Grand is one of its kind in Zurich, offering e-bikes and complimentary cars for guests, as well as childcare services; the concierge team always knows what’s going on around Zurich and is ready to share tips and recommendations excursions and activities. On top of that, the kid’s room is open on weekends for children aged three to 12 and filled with supervised activities to keep the little ones busy and active.
