Ski Dubai transforms into Winter Wonderland for festive season

Guests will have the unique opportunity to experience a white Christmas in Dubai from 01 – 25 December

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and, from 01 – 25 December, Ski Dubai will be transformed into a picture-perfect Winter Wonderland, giving guests the unique opportunity to experience a snow-filled holiday season complete with a spectacular 40ft Christmas tree.

Santa Claus is coming to town and guests can meet the man himself and his merry elves at Santa’s Grotto, where they will receive a special surprise gift. For the first year ever, families will have the chance to visit Santa on Christmas Day after he has finished delivering presents to all the children around the world. Mrs Claus will also be making an appearance from 13 – 24 December and entertaining children at her storytelling sessions with festive tales about Santa, his reindeers and elves.

As guests meander through the Winter Wonderland, they will be treated to the sweet sounds of Christmas carols performed by a live choir and can indulge in an array of seasonal treats including gingerbread penguins, mince pies and a bespoke peppermint hot chocolate from artisan chocolate makers, Mirzam.

Mall of the Emirates’ first ever Christmas market overlooks the magical snowy slopes of Ski Dubai and is held in collaboration with Ripe Market. This unique festive market is made of 19 vendors with a rich range of festive food and beverage favourites and holiday-themed trinkets and gifts.

Maria Gedeon, Marketing Director at Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment and Cinemas said, “This year, celebrating togetherness with family and friends is more important than ever. While things will be a little bit different, guests can rest assured that Majid Al Futtaim has put in place extensive measures to ensure that everyone can enjoy the holiday season in a safe and fun way. With an array of festive experiences, Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland is the perfect place to create lasting memories in a magical setting with loved ones.”

Ski Dubai is exceeding recommended health and safety guidelines and has implemented an all-encompassing sanitisation and physical distancing plan to ensure that guests can enjoy a comfortable experience with added peace of mind.

Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland is open from 01 – 25 December (9am – 9pm). Ticket prices start from AED125 and a regular Ski Dubai ticket can be upgraded for AED75. Each ticket includes a meet and greet with Santa, a printed photo to capture the special moment, a gift bag from Santa as well as a signature hot chocolate. Group and family passes are also available. For more information or to make a booking visit skidxb.com/christmas.
