Museum of Illusions is the ideal edutainment venue for the entire family

Museum of Illusions Dubai, the city’s coolest Instagrammable venue at the waterfront Al Seef development by Meraas on Dubai Creek, has unveiled a quartet of new Illusions, ready to blow visitors away, and have them questioning their eyesight.

The exhibits launch as part of a venue refresh, three years after its successful opening in 2018, which has saw more than 300,000 visitors from all walks of life pass through the doors. The perfect spot for a family day out, an alternative date night, or fun with friends – Museum of Illusions appeals to visitors of all ages and interests on the stunning Al Seef promenade, packed with F&B and retail concepts.

The first of the new exhibits is the symmetry illusion room, which is a room that is perceived as a whole room, even though only one-half of it is visible. A mirror running through the centre creates the full room illusion with visitors who stand in the middle seeing a symmetrical reflection of themselves, with additional props to encourage visitors to be even more creative!

The Infinity Well, the second of the three exhibits, consists of two pieces – one mounted on the floor and the other on the ceiling, to form tunnels where visitors will see their reflection infinitely.

The Tricky Rings is made up of three rings connected at a specific angle on a rotating base, which makes visitors questions their own eyes, giving the illusion that they are floating on top of each other.

The final exhibit to be unveiled is the Following Eyes with Mahatma Gandhi, which features concave eyes and the feeling that the visitor is being followed while they move around the room.

Open daily from 10am – 10pm, Monday to Thursday, and 10am – 11pm Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Museum of Illusions Dubai features a range of illusions, displays and games to suit visitors of all ages. Tickets for adults are priced at AED 80 and AED 60 for children, while family package tickets are available at AED 225 for two adults and two children, or AED 340 for five tickets that can be allocated to either adults or children. Kids under 5 go free.
