We recently ventured out to Tunisia with Hyundai Middle East & Africa for much the awaited launch of the new Hyundai Venue, which redefines the crossover segment customer experiences through design, performance, space, comfort, and advanced technologies. The smallest member of its SUV family, the new Venue in the crossover segment is influenced by the global design philosophy of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’.
Driving across in city of Tunis, we found the new Venue has truly expanded capabilities with a strong foundation for its success by encapsulating bold and futuristic design elements, spacious interiors, comfort and safety. It has a distinctive and attractive design identity based around vibrant design, exceptional comfort and convenience, next level technology and connectivity, uncompromised safety, and exciting performance.
On the outside, the dark chrome front grille comes with a unique design highlighting the new Venue’s powerful and imposing look, while the body-colored bumpers and front skid plate design enhances the sporty quotient of the SUV.
The prominent hood lines express a bold character and at the same time a dynamic appearance, meanwhile the innovatively designed LED projector Headlamps with LED DRL and Positioning Lamps retain the distinctive charm of the new Venue.
The bridge-type Roof Rails add more sportiness while the dual tone finish adds more flare with chrome finish outside door handles and diamond cut alloys wheels. The rear has connecting LED Tail Lamps while the new Rear Bumper and Rear Skid Plate design enhance its sporty characteristics, personifying a bold and wide look. The Shark Fin Antenna integrated with a distinctly SUV silhouette, rounds up a bold and sporty appearance at the back.
Inside the cabin, premium upholstery, innovative and advanced technologies provide a comfortable spacious in-car experience. the new Venue will feature Power Drive Seat with 4 Way seat adjustment and 2-Step Rear Reclining Seat that offers customers a choice of their preferred seating posture with rear seating having increased leg room.
The high-definition 8˝ display features a touchscreen user interface with menus that are easy to navigate and supports Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and MirrorLink, as well as Bluetooth for hands-free phone operation.
For safety, the ultra-rigid monocoque steel body shell is designed to safely absorb impact forces and the rear camera display system and Tire pressure warning system provide additional reassurance.
The new Venue checks all the boxes in the performance and safety as the 1.0L Kappa T-GDI combines turbocharging and gasoline direct fuel injection technology for outstanding fuel efficiency. The H-Matic, Hyundai’s tried and true 7-speed automatic gearbox delivers silk-smooth gear shifts with outstanding efficiency.
The new Venue has also been equipped with Drive Mode Select for a versatile driving performance, with a choice of Normal, Sport, or Eco delivering a more engaging driving experience. It was the perfect car to explore Tunis and it will do just as well in any city globally.
