The INEOS Grenadier 4X4 is a remarkable addition to the world of rugged off-roaders, designed to fill a gap in the market for a hard-working, reliable vehicle that doesn’t compromise on modern-day compliance. Recently we set out on a road trip with the brand to some of the best desert driving sites with an overnight stopover in the charming Hatta area.
With its inception in 2017 by INEOS Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Grenadier has been engineered from the ground up to be a true 4X4, undergoing rigorous testing and development to ensure its capability and reliability. During my first drive of the Grenadier in the MENA region, I had the unique opportunity to experience its capabilities across a variety of terrains in the UAE.
Behind the wheel, the Grenadier proved to be an exceptional performer, effortlessly navigating through rugged wadis, conquering vast desert dunes, and cruising along modern highways. For me personally, driving across the high dunes with little effort was a game changer and the Grenadier gave me the confidence to go dune bashing more often.
