Blending cutting-edge virtual reality with life-sized animatronics, the experience brings the Jurassic era to life in a way that is both educational and thrilling.
Unfolding across a series of themed zones inspired by scientific discovery and imaginative storytelling, the journey is designed to ignite curiosity in visitors of all ages.
Located on Level 2, North Entrance (near Marks & Spencer), the expedition begins in the Museum’s Reserves, a behind-the-scenes fossil archive rarely seen by the public, before moving through immersive environments that merge technology, science and play.
At the heart of the experience is the VR Odyssey, where guests put on high-tech headsets to explore a hyper-realistic Jurassic landscape. Guided by a virtual narrator, visitors walk among life-sized dinosaurs and learn about their behaviors and habitats in a sweeping 360-degree world.
The adventure continues in the Virtual to Reality zone, where animatronic dinosaurs appear in a vibrant natural habitat, offering close-up encounters that bring the creatures to life. The journey concludes in the Creative Play zone, featuring hands-on activities, photo moments and a mini science lab to inspire young explorers.
