Building a climate resilient future, private sector interventions, sustainable growth and impact of climate change discussed on Day 3 of the Environment & Development Forum 2022:  The Road to Sharm El Sheikh Climate Change COP27

CAPTION STORY: The Environment Development Forum 2022 – “The Road to Sharm El Sheikh Climate Change COP27” on its third day in Cairo, Egypt opened with a plenary session on innovation and private sector interventions, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Mahina, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Egypt.

The opening session was followed by numerous technical sessions that included discussions on working towards a climate resilient future, managing water resources, human mobility and the future of sustainable energy.

The event featured speakers from different industries highlighting environment and development issues related to climate change. The themes discussed included water resources, biodiversity and oceans, agriculture and food security, climate cross cutting issues, solutions & tools, energy and sustainable growth and cities.
