Besenzoni Blends Art, Design, and Marine Innovation at Fuorisalone 2025

In the vibrant heart of Milan Design Week, where innovation meets imagination, Besenzoni makes a powerful return to Fuorisalone 2025 with a captivating installation titled “Reflections on the Sea.”Presented in collaboration with the renowned Christian Grande Studio, the work blurs the line between industrial design and experiential art, offering a poetic narrative about humanity’s eternal connection with the ocean.
Best known for its high-end yacht accessories and components, Besenzoni brings its nautical essence to shore—quite literally—through an installation that transforms marine technology into sculptural expression.
With mirrored surfaces, shifting lights, and evocative forms, Reflections on the Sea invites visitors to step into an immersive environment where the themes of innovation, excellence, and harmony with nature unfold across water-inspired motifs.
At the core of the installation are four metallic sculptural forms, finished in reflective surfaces and balanced with internal counterweights for stability. Rising up to 2.8 meters in height, the pieces represent key elements from the Besenzoni world: the gangway, symbolizing transition from land to water, and the pilot chair, representing control and comfort in navigation.
The visual interplay of mirrors and translucent glass panels, designed to evoke water and sky, creates an environment that changes with light and movement, pulling visitors into a contemplative dialogue with the sea.
For Christian Grande, the installation represents a natural evolution of his ongoing collaboration with Besenzoni. Known for a design language that merges form with function, his studio interpreted the brand’s core values, technological elegance, respect for heritage, and user-centric design through a visual language that is as artistic as it is architectural.
“This isn’t just an installation,” says Giorgio Besenzoni, CEO of the company. “It’s a message about the interconnectedness between design and the sea. Our participation at Fuorisalone is a way to show that the yachting world is not isolated but in constant dialogue with the wider creative industries. Design is in our DNA, and this is our way of sharing that passion with a broader audience.”
Founded in 1967 in Sarnico on the shores of Lake Iseo, Besenzoni has long been at the forefront of yacht innovation, working with prestigious shipyards worldwide. What sets the company apart is not only its engineering but also its deep commitment to emotional, human-centered design. Reflections on the Seaembodies this ethos, transforming mechanical components into reflective symbols of connection, movement, and fluidity.
With 18 awards to its name for its technological and design achievements, including this year’s recognition at Fuorisalone, Besenzoni continues to chart a bold course—one that doesn’t just build for the sea but builds with it, embracing its poetry, its power, and its presence in our collective imagination.
